Transport Specialist – EU Logistics

Location: Stepan Polska Sp. z o.o., 56‑120 Brzeg Dolny, ul. Urazka 8 a,b,c – hybrid work

Reports to: EU Logistics Manager

The purpose of the role

to optimize and improve transport cost structure and performance, ensure regulatory and transport safety compliance, enhance cooperation with transport companies, and make this area Stepan’s competitive strength.

Responsibilities

• Execute EU transport strategy aligned with customer and financial goals.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to meet cost, service and delivery targets.
• Lead EU transport sourcing, bidding, and supplier relationship management.
• Monitor and communicate trends, analyse costs, and propose savings initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customs and transport legislation.
• Optimize logistics systems (SAP, TMS), recommend and introduce improvements.
• Support budgeting, KPI tracking and continuous improvement.
• Promote EHS standards and investigate transport‑related incidents.
• Support key transactional activities related to daily transport management.
• Work with internal and external customers.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in transportation or logistics (must).
• Fluent in English (must); French is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Proficient in SAP, TMS and logistics systems.
• Knowledge of EU transport and customs regulations.
• Collaborative, resilient and detail‑oriented with a strategic outlook.
