We are looking for you for our team: Transport Manager . The position is located in Wróblowice.

Surrounded by a team of high-performing professionals, your mission will be to oversee and manage logistics strategy to ensure a perfect service to the client while meeting cost, efficiency, timeliness targets and regulations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Department Management: Oversee the entire Transport department, ensuring all team members are functioning effectively and meeting set objectives.
• Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans that align with the strategy and company’s business goals, including setting performance goals for each division within the department.
• Budget Control: Develop and manage the department’s budget, making adjustments as necessary to control costs and ensure the department operates within its financial means.
• Staff Management: Lead, manage, and develop a team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the process of loading is in accordance with the highest quality standards, guaranteeing safety based on the principles of quality risk management and with particular care for the natural environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in comprehensive management of logistics departments in a production company, preferably in this area to leverage professional contacts in the transport industry.
• Deep understanding of logistics and transport strategies, with a focus on the production industry.
• Masters degree in logistics or a related field.
• Experience preparing transport budgets.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies, specifically as they apply to supply chain management.
• Knowledge and experience in ERP tools.
