We are looking for a Transition Lead to support Service Transition Management within a complex organizational environment. The role focuses on ensuring smooth handover of projects and services from delivery teams to line organizations, while maintaining governance, operational readiness, and long-term sustainability.
The project operates within a large-scale, dynamic environment where multiple stakeholders collaborate across business and IT functions. The Transition Lead will play a key role in coordinating transition activities, monitoring post-implementation progress, and ensuring that transitioned services are successfully embedded in the operational structure.
responsibilities :
Support Service Transition Management function by monitoring and anchoring deliveries transitioned to line organization
Drive transition activities and execute project retrospective sessions
Follow up on implementation plans and agreed target transfers
Establish post-transition monitoring controls and governance frameworks
Monitor post-transition activities ensuring line organizations fulfill responsibilities with allocated FTE and run costs
Recommend transitioned projects for perpetual run cost transfer
Drive and review biweekly progress reporting
Create new STM milestones and maintain project timelines
Oversee STM approach maintenance and ensure STM Handbook with templates remains current
Facilitate stakeholder communication across complex organizational landscapes
requirements-expected :
Experience with complex stakeholder landscapes in large organizations
Understanding of banking and/or IT operations and processes
Knowledge of change management and organizational design
Skillset to support project manager in running STM function
Vital role in providing skilled capacity to successfully anchor transitioned deliverables in line organization
Ensuring sustained risk reduction
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Experience in service transition or change management roles
Understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks
