Be a CDSe thermal domain expert, drive constant improvement and change in CDSe platform to enable end users to create competitive designs of transformers with reduced engineering time in thermal area. Drive development of thermal solutions in reference to CDSe platform needs.

Main Responsibilities/Primary Tasks:

  • Support CDSe platform development and maintenance.
  • Guide CDSe team how to solve thermal aspects of transformer design.
  • Drive thermal solutions in CDSe platform in synergy with the GLOMUS-TFD team.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and specification of thermal solutions for stakeholders, be involved and drive the process of adaptation of Thermal related Technical Standards from GLOMUS-TFD team to the CDS team.
  • Maintain existing thermal documentation and solutions in CDSe platform, drive improvements and changes.
  • Support factories and end users (e.g., handling tickets, trainings for users), have regular meetings with factories to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with Technology Team and contribute to technical standards development.
  • Collaborate with developers – specify requirements, support implementation, verify work done.
  • Deliver test cases to assure sustainable quality of CDSe platform, lead test sessions with end users.
  • Prepare training materials and lead trainings for end users.
  • Be part of CDSe community.

  • Quick adaptation to changes in priorities and assigned tasks.
  • Flexibility in working hours – adjust your daily plan to enable collaboration with people from other time zones.
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ Years related experience, preferred in PGTR.
  • Deep understanding of thermal domain.
  • Experience in modelling thermal phenomena.
  • Knowledge of thermal simulation methods.
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation including drawings.
  • Solid knowledge of Office 365 tools (especially Excel, Word, and Teams).
  • Understanding of software development process and agile framework.
  • Ability to work independently based upon set goals and objectives.
  • Ability to plan and execute in a timely manner with high quality.
  • Problem solving & analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills – Must have good verbal and written English language skills.
  • Interaction and communication with users and team members – experience in working in groups to achieve common targets.
  • Ability to share feedback with team members.
