about-project :
The Transformation Analyst will play a key role in delivering initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, service delivery, and overall operational performance across the Global Claims function at AXA XL. This role will deliver comprehensive business analysis, provide data-driven insights, and support projects to identify operational improvement opportunities, facilitate informed decision-making, and assist in the design and implementation of target-state solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, global and regional Claims operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support successful delivery of key initiatives aligned with business objectives and promote best practices in process improvement and operational excellence.
This role will report into the Head of Operational Performance, Global Claims and Legal & Compliance.
responsibilities :
Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from global and regional stakeholders to support operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
Conduct comprehensive process and data analysis to identify performance gaps, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement
Develop and maintain business process documentation, including operating models, business requirements, functional specifications, current- and future-state process maps, and
Assist with feasibility studies, answer design, and evaluation to enhance operational performance through process improvements, automation, AI capabilities, and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to help define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
Support the development of business cases, including analysis of operational benefits, cost implications, and expected outcomes for proposed initiatives.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to communicate findings, obtain approvals, and support alignment across teams.
Prepare analysis, insights, and reporting to support benefit tracking, operational performance monitoring and leadership decision-making.
Work with global and regional claims teams to support change management and process adoption.
Actively seek coaching, feedback and mentoring to enhance skillset and contribute to the evolution of tools, templates, and methodologies to support consistent delivery of operational excellence initiatives.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
Professional experience in business analysis or a related role
Robust understanding of core insurance processes, including Claims preferred
Proficiency in business analysis techniques, methodologies, and tools
Experience in applying Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational improvements
Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
Experience with project management concepts and practices
effective data analysis or visualization and presentation skills
effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Commitment to integrity, client focus, excellence, and teamwork
Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
