About The Client

Our client is a modern fintech company specializing in payment processing and crypto gateways, with a strong focus on the iGaming sector. Operating as a high-risk PSP, they prioritize structure, transparency, and disciplined execution as they scale and systematize processes toward ISO-quality standards.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Transaction Support Specialist to join the operations team and ensure smooth transaction flow across multiple payment systems. This role is about control, coordination, and calm problem-solving — keeping processes transparent and clients informed. You’ll monitor daily transactions, detect issues, and coordinate with IT, ML, and finance teams to resolve them efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor daily transaction flow and check for errors, delays, or anomalies.
  • Handle partner inquiries, prioritize cases, and provide timely updates.
  • Escalate incidents to relevant departments (IT, ML, Financial).
  • Maintain clear documentation and analytics in Excel.
  • Build and update an internal knowledge base for recurring issues.
  • Occasionally respond to rare alerts outside working hours (1–2 times per month).

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ months of experience in fintech, payment operations, or transaction monitoring.
  • Understanding of how financial transactions are processed.
  • Attention to detail, structured mindset, and reliability under pressure.
  • Strong Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, basic reporting).
  • Basic understanding of API documentation and technical requests.
  • Working proficiency in English and Russian.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with support or ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk).
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to spot data irregularities.
  • Understanding of escalation processes and cross-department collaboration.

Work Setup

  • Location: Preferably Riga, but remote possible within the EU.
  • Schedule: Full-time, standard hours.
  • Extras: Occasional alerts outside hours; clear growth path toward Team Lead Support or Transaction Analyst as the team expands.
