Job Description

Who we are looking for

In this role, you will work with State Street teams from around the globe to mainly support premier investment management clients of the Italian market. You will have immediate responsibility to oversee all day-to-day transactional responsibilities in a fast-paced, flexible, and exciting environment.

Why this role is important to us

You will be part of an enthusiastic team dealing with multiple stakeholders within Cash Reconciliation and Domestic Payments. You work collaboratively with your team members to ensure cash transactions are properly reported and reconciled.

What you will be responsible for

As GCO and Claims Senior Analyst, you will:

  • Act as a resource within the team to problem-solve for issues with clients, counterparties, and other internal teams.
  • Effectively identify potential issues that might work against the team and take early corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively and engage in building an effective working relationship with internal primary service recipient (State Street Italy).
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, custodians, and brokers to ensure timely effective processing of requests.
  • Prepare, complete, and review standard client reporting.
  • Perform transaction processing tasks within the business unit as necessary to support processing routines.
  • Consult with peers to optimize the operating model aimed at continuous improvement and transformation.
  • Oversee and train new hires.
  • Act as SME within the team and propose improvements where needed.
  • Participate in any cross-department initiatives aimed at improving Employee Engagement.

What we value

  • Working knowledge of Excel and other tools used in the team such as PSAR, MyStateStreet, MCH, GTM, IMT.
  • Highly self-driven sense of motivation.
  • Naturally curious and passionate.
  • Strong accuracy aptitude and detail orientation.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years’ relevant experience.
  • Degree in Economics.

Additional requirements

  • Good command of English.
  • Working knowledge of software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel.
