The Training Specialist provides an exceptional learning experience. Facilitating blended learning for the AGI-DS org. The role requires the ability to support planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of end-to-end training. The Training Specialist will work closely with the Training Manager to track and drive completion of training reporting and task completion through the Learning Management System (LMS). Training Specialists also work to identify areas of improvement at a site level and to drive innovation within training approaches.



Key Responsibilities include:

1. Facilitate classroom training following the approved curriculum.
2. Actively work to maintain theoretical proficiency in assigned trainings. Maintain expertise in their current role by staying current on tools, processes, procedures, and training techniques.
3. Manage the classroom to ensure an organized and productive learning environment for all trainees.
4. Evaluate trainee performance on a daily basis to identify opportunity areas and help improve performance accordingly.
5. Ensure trainee success by providing coaching & feedback during training and providing feedback to Training Manager on trainee engagement and performance.
6. Share batch related observations with the respective Training Manager so that they can take corrective action.
7. Manage relevant tasks within the Learning Management System (LMS), such as enrollment and scheduling of learners & trainings, and troubleshoot any implementation issues.
8. Publish training reports as per the agreed standard/template.
9. Collect feedback on the effectiveness of the training programs/modules/content through training surveys, ongoing observations or while taking the course(s) and share it with the relevant stakeholders.
10. Communicate with the relevant stakeholders on the progress and needs of ongoing trainings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelors degree or significant college course work in communication, education or related field.
2. Native-level proficiency in German, both verbal and written skills.
3. Learning/training experience and/or certification.
4. Skilled in and can demonstrate experience with planning, creating, implementing, delivering and assessing various types of training.
5. Communication skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers.
6. Excellent collaboration, coordination and organization skills.
7. Experience with one-to-many and one-to-one communication skills in both classroom and tutorial settings.
8. Knowledge of adult learning and training practices.
9. Experience working with remote teams.
10. English written and verbal fluency.
11. Competent user level of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Working knowledge of another European language (German, Italian, or Spanish).
2. Bachelors Degree in relevant field.
3. Demonstrated working knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or Flash.
4. Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter.
5. Experience working with a globally-distributed management organization.
