Training Compliance and Governance Coordinator

Heli-One is seeking a Training Compliance and Governance Coordinator to maintain aircrew records within the Company Qualification Management System, safeguarding training and operational compliance for CHC’s AOCs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance & governance records and documentation of aircrew training in Quality Management System (QMS/Pelesys).
  • Track required documents and upload courses and certificates into the QMS.
  • Manage training records and forms.
  • Enroll 3rd‑party provider courses – DG, WDD – raise purchase requisitions, process invoices.
  • Identify and manage governance & compliance risks, reporting expiries immediately to MCT.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections, manage corrective actions, support the AOCs on formal audits.
  • Liaise with Training Planners, Roster Planners, and Pilots to coordinate all initial and recurrent trainings and license paperwork submissions to regulatory bodies.
  • Regularly review and update training policies and procedures where applicable.
  • Ensure training programs comply with applicable regulations and CHC standards.
  • Stay current with regulatory and company changes and adapt compliance strategies accordingly.
  • Provide training on compliance procedures and requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks, duties, and projects assigned by STPS, MCT, HOFT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • When lacking a degree, 4 years of relevant experience will be accepted.
  • Strong understanding of training compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to interpret and apply governance policies.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Type of work: Full‑time, Temporary (fixed term – approx. 12 months).
