Trade Finance Analyst/ Controller with German (f/m/x) in Mars Global Services

Location: Warsaw

Mars is looking for a Sales & Trade Term Controller to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting and planning, risk management, internal control, and digital tools management. You will deliver periodic close of GSV/NSV, manage trade terms accounting, and support leadership in volume-to-value planning. What will be your key responsibilities?

• Validate customer data/contracts in the TPM tool and collaborate with Sales to ensure all processes (invoice approval, promotional deals approval) are delivered on time and recorded accurately.
• Ensure trade budgets are managed accurately and at the appropriate level of detail in the system; support SDL to ensure spending aligns with guidelines through regular budget reviews with the Sales Team.
• Oversee and lead Trade Accrual Management, Governance, and Communication.
• Partner with local Business Partners and Sales on quarterly Trade Term reviews via Digital Dealsheet tool (PowerBI dashboard).
• Provide backup for required CAS finance approvals.
• Support the Units Sales Leadership and Regional Controllership Team for internal and external audits on Trade Fund Management.
• Deliver period-end closing in TPM tool, from GSV to NSV, including Accrual Management and communication to stakeholders in the unit and MGS‑F.
• Maintain and support further development of digital tools/reporting and foster a value creation mindset within local finance Business Partners.
