About the Role
The Trade & Revenue Manager designs, develops and implements commercial strategies to support the delivery of commercial plans across channels, creating value through the full spectrum of RGM levers and achieving positive impact on net sales and profitability. The position collaborates with sales, performance analytics, shopper marketing and finance to enable a holistic approach to revenue and sales management.
Main Responsibilities
- Commercial Policy: work with the Commercial Team to design optimum commercial policy to drive activation of Opella brands across channels, meet GTN targets and maximise a pay‑for‑performance approach.
- Pricing: responsible for the local pricing process, driving price increases and applying the defined pricing strategy.
- Promotion: conduct promo ROI analysis to allocate in‑store activation investment cost‑efficiently.
- Mix: monitor and drive positive SKU, brand, channel and customer mix through a tailored action plan based on detailed analysis and strategy.
- Portfolio optimisation/simplification:
- Brand architecture: act as local lead to support marketers in discovering new pricing/sizing opportunities.
- Optimisation: lead portfolio optimisation and harmonised pack sizes across the country.
- Innovations: participate in the local innovation process to define a sustainable, profitable go‑to‑market approach.
- Lead Sales Out to Sales In translation as part of Integrated Business Planning and collaborate with the Country Head to ensure robust net sales assumptions.
- Lead GTN accrual process.
- Cooperate with internal and external auditors dedicated to revenue management.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team by fostering growth, engagement and continuous improvement.
About You
- Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance or analytics.
- Experience: at least 5 years in revenue management, commercial and/or finance – ideally in FMCG or consumer healthcare with strong commercial acumen.
- Soft skills: ability to challenge and drive change, extract insight from data and craft compelling commercial strategies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player.
- Technical skills: strong analytical and data‑quality skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Power BI is a plus.
- Language skills: fluent in English and Polish.
