Digital Business Automation is a global function within Enterprise Infrastructure with over 270 staff in 12 countries. We are responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for several critical products across the organization, as well as ensuring their availability, recoverability, and security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Testing as a practice across the technologies in our Platform. You will drive the Testing strategy for our technologies and agree on the ways in which we will assure, measure, and build quality into every phase of the development and deployment lifecycle.

You will be responsible for solving engineering problems in relation to testing and quality assurance and develop processes and practices that help deliver scalable testing that is fast, frequent, and continuous.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a Testing strategy and ensure its implementation across Control-M technology
• Determining tools and approaches for Testing per product and the automated storing of test output
• Ensuring documented Test strategies and test plans are in place and are up to date and reflective of the current position
• Actively maintaining existing Test frameworks or help develop new ones when required.
• Developing Tests that are predictable, repeatable, and implement automated verification of acceptance criteria.
• Introduce KPIs or metrics that evidence the success of Testing as a practice.
• Agree on appropriate hosting of any necessary Testing infrastructure or software

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE

• Testing background in a fast-paced IT environment
• Strategic planning
• Automation tooling
• Experience of different types of testing, e.g., unit, performance, regression
• Experience of evaluating the success of implementing testing strategies
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in English language speaking and writing skills required.
• Experience of working with global teams across geographies and cultures

OPTIONAL/NICE TO HAVE

• Understanding of workload automation or scheduling tooling
• Understanding of Managed File Transfer systems
