We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our client team at the prominent investment bank. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans specific to the platform, automate test scenarios, and ensure high platform reliability. Your work will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and dependability of platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain test plans for platform-specific features.
2. Automate test scenarios to improve efficiency and coverage.
3. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
4. Perform functional, integration, and performance testing on platform components.
5. Ensure the platform’s high reliability through rigorous testing and validation.
6. Document and report test results, issues, and defects clearly and effectively.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Proficient in designing, executing, and evaluating tests to ensure the quality of software solutions.
2. Experienced in implementing quality assurance practices and ensuring compliance with standards.
3. Skilled in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and tools.
4. Specialist Testing for Platform (TECH): Level 4.
5. Proficient in testing platform-specific technologies like Camunda, Drools, and Kafka.

Technologies:

1. Platforms: Experience with Camunda, Drools, or Kafka is desirable.
2. Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
3. Bug Tracking and Collaboration Tools: JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience in software testing and automation.
3. Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

1. Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
2. Familiarity with microservices architecture.
3. ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
