Job Overview
Apply for the Test Engineer role at Nokia in the MN RAN VRF KRK department in Kraków. This position focuses on end‑to‑end testing of telecommunication technologies, integrating software and hardware components into system, platform, product releases and networks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze features with respect to end‑to‑end purpose and functionality.
- Design test cases and scenarios based on requirements specifications.
- Integrate and verify features in a customer‑close, end‑to‑end test lab using real equipment.
- Automate regression tests to ensure high product quality.
- Troubleshoot SW bugs through pre‑analysis of faults, produce trace and log files, and verify fixes from development.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture and Development teams.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Work with 5G/4G Radio Access Networks, 3GPP specifications, Python, Robot Framework, Linux, OpenStack, GIT, and JIRA. Gain experience in laboratory setup, equipment maintenance, and the automation of testing environments.
Key Skills And Experience
- Knowledge of 4G/5G telecommunication systems.
- Understanding of telecom protocols, IP, and networking.
- Experience troubleshooting IP and telecom network software and hardware.>
- Python and Bash scripting knowledge.
- Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, and communication skills in English.
- Ready to work in a hybrid mode (Nokia Kraków office).
Nice to Have
- Experience with LTE and 5G Core usage and troubleshooting.
- Verification experience in call processing (VoLTE, VoNR, CA), UE & simulators, and LTE/5G Core troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field.
- Test automation experience.
- Familiarity with Linux, GIT.
