Job Title : Test Automation Engineer (Kafka and Shift Left)

Tasks

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for Kafka-based applications , ensuring comprehensive test coverage and early defect detection
• Apply Shift Left testing principles by integrating testing early in the development lifecycle to identify and prevent defects proactively
• Create and manage automated tests using Java Spring Boot and Cucumber
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks
• Execute and analyze performance and load testing with tools like JMeter
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with CI/CD processes and maintain testing pipelines
• Perform manual testing as needed to verify software functionality and quality
• Ensure code versioning and project management using GIT

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in test automation, with hands-on experience in Kafka-based applications
• Strong expertise in Shift Left testing practices with a proven track record of early defect detection and prevention
• Proficiency with Java Spring Boot and Cucumber for test automation
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure
• Experience in CI/CD processes and GIT version control
• Background in manual testing and a strong understanding of testing fundamentals
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
