We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer with strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and deep automation expertise - someone who shapes quality as part of system design, solves complex engineering challenges and drives high‑impact automation across the product. This role offers real ownership, technical influence and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on Kanzi’s next‑generation web tools.

What you will do

As a Senior Web Test Automation Engineer, you will:

  • Make architectural decisions on how tests are structured, executed, scaled and integrated into CI/CD

  • Develop clean, efficient JavaScript/TypeScript code for testing infrastructure, web tooling and solltest scenarios

  • Improve reliability and coverage through well‑designed, efficient test suites

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align test design with product architecture

  • Investigate complex failures, improve tooling and drive automation best practices

  • Participate in code reviews and influence how quality is embedded into the product

What makes you a great fit

You’re a software engineer specializing in test automation, with strong engineering fundamentals and a proven track record of shaping high‑impact solutions. You thrive on ownership, influence and tackling technical challenges head‑on.

Must have skills

  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript development skills

  • Experience with Playwright or Cypress/WebdriverIO/Nightwatch, with willingness to switch

  • Proven experience designing and building test automation frameworks

  • Good understanding of test automation for complex web applications

  • Experience contributing to CI/CD‑driven, fully automated testing pipelines

  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar CI systems

  • Strong communication, ownership and collaboration skills

Nice to have skills

  • Knowledge of C#/.NET, Python and Robot Framework

  • Experience with modern web stacks (React, Vite, WebAssembly, WebGPU, bundlers)

  • Experience designing developer tooling or test‑driven build pipelines

  • Familiarity with cloud or virtual environments (AWS, EC2, Docker, VMware)

  • Understanding of performance testing, reliability testing or load testing

Why this role matters

Testing Kanzi’s next‑generation web‑based tools goes beyond clicking through UI flows.

This role focuses on building robust, scalable automation infrastructure for highly technical, performance‑sensitive applications used in global automotive development.

You’ll influence how fast we deliver, how safely we release and how confidently our customers build next‑gen digital cockpits.

At Rightware, we value innovation, creativity and deep technical expertise. You’ll join a team where your ideas shape the product, your skills define the automation landscape and your work has a direct impact on the future of automotive digital experiences - all while enjoying competitive compensation and a culture that supports your growth.
