For one of our clients, we are looking for UFT One Test Automation Engineer with a strong focus on test automation and API testing .
???? Location / Working mode: Warsaw – once per 2 weeks.
Your responsibilities
Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using UFT One (Unified Functional Testing)
Designing and executing API tests (REST / SOAP) using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, UFT API Testing, Gatling
Close collaboration with developers and analysts to ensure high software quality
Analyzing test results, reporting defects, and supporting the defect resolution process
Participating in test planning, estimations, and continuous improvement of QA processes
Requirements
Technical
Minimum 5 years of overall experience in test automation
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with UFT One
Ability to write automation scripts in VBScript (UFT)
Knowledge of XML / JSON
Experience in API testing (REST / SOAP), including authorization, headers, request/response bodies, and status codes
Experience with test and defect management tools (e.g. JIRA )
Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git)
Soft skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills when working with development and QA teams
Proactive attitude toward problem-solving and improving testing processes
Good work organization and ability to work independently
Nice to have
ISTQB certification (Foundation level or higher)
Knowledge of other testing tools (e.g. Playwright, Gatling )
Experience in performance testing
