About the project:
Wealth View is the customer channels of HSBC Private Bank. It allows Private Bank customer to view their portfolio of assets, and as entry point of various digital functions such as trade and payment. Wealth View includes Mobile Channel App and Browser Channel App, served by a integration
platform as backend.
The current project is aimed to adopt latest HSBC digital user experience design ‘North Star’ to the Wealth View Mobile App, with latest HSB group technology ‘Platform Hub‘. At the same time, those redesigned pages could be deployed to HSBC Retail App (Mobile X) so that dual banking customer would see the same experience.
responsibilities :
Collaborate closely with a Scrum development team to ensure the quality and functionality of mobile and browser platform solutions.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering both manual and automated testing processes.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure applications meet quality standards.
Identify, document, and manage defects using bug tracking tools, and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing insights and updates on testing progress.
Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, adopting best practices and new technologies to enhance quality assurance as well as stay updated with the latest browser & mobile testing trends and tools to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge practices.
Conduct usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience across different devices and platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience as a Browser and/or Mobile QA Tester and proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cucumber or similar.
Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Expertise in automated testing for mobile and browser applications
Experience with RESTful API, web UI, and mobile testing
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (GIT)
Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within a Scrum team as well as experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or similar.
