For our Client from banking industry we are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with Java programming skills.
Your key responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing automated test scripts for performance checks
- Analyzing defects and updating scripts
- Review and comment requirements and technical designs from a test perspective
- Work actively with the entire agile scrum team to secure high quality of the delivery
- Gathering and managing test data; understand test data dependencies for a given context
- Report, debug and verify defects
- Recommending appropriate actions for test results
- Daily impediments resolution and communication, risk mitigation
- Improve and extend the existing framework solution where possible.
Description of knowledge and experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience in any of following domains: GUI based (Web), service-based level (REST)
- Coding skills in Java
- Strong experience with jMeter
- Knowledge and experience in Non-functional testing
- Knowledge and experience in solutions supporting test automation (Maven, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman, Chrome devtools)
- Fluent in using GIT
- Experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo)
- Basic experience with SQL queries preparation
- Skills with data manipulation using various data formats (e.g. XML, CSV, JSON) would be an additional asset
- Experience in implementing behavior driven development approach and familiar with Gherkin
- Knowledge of Non-Functional Tests and hands on experience with jMeter
- General testing knowledge to the level of ISTQB Foundation Level.
