We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join a project focused on ensuring the quality of a complex banking IT system. The role involves developing and maintaining a test automation framework, executing and monitoring automated tests, analyzing defects and logs and supporting integration testing. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders in a fast-paced Agile environment to deliver high-quality, reliable software.
responsibilities :
Design and develop a full-stack test automation framework (UI, API, backend)
Execute and monitor automated tests across multiple environments
Prepare and run manual test cases
report and manage defects
Analyze logs and data to investigate test failures
Support business testing and collaborate with stakeholders
Maintain visibility on integration and test environment status
Communicate effectively with development, QA and business teams
requirements-expected :
3+ years of practical experience in test automation and programming, primarily in C#
Proven experience in full-stack test automation (frontend, middleware/API, backend/databases)
Strong skills in C#, .NET and Power Apps (nice to have: Java or Python)
Experience with frontend testing tools like Selenium or NUnit (nice to have: Robot Framework or Playwright)
Solid SQL and database knowledge
Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
Proficient with GIT version control
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, BitBucket)
Good understanding of Agile methodologies: SAFe and SDLC
Solid knowledge of test automation practices such as TDD, BDD and Page Object Model
ISTQB Foundation certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months
Basic knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ or similar event streaming platforms
Experience following the test automation pyramid (shift-left)
Able to work across different test environments and test levels
Fluent English communication skills
