Test Automation Engineer - AI-augmented testing

Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) tests using Playwright, TypeScript, and BDD methodology. Integrate tests with Jira, Xray, and Allure Report. Configure and manage on-demand test environments. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure software quality and explore modern AI-augmented testing approaches.

Your Duties Will Include

• Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) tests
• Create automated tests using BDD methodology and Gherkin syntax
• Work with Playwright using TypeScript
• Integrate automated tests with Jira and Xray
• Configure and manage fleeting environments for automated testing purposes
• Configure, generate, and analyze test reports using Allure Report
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure software quality
• Explore and adopt modern testing approaches, including AI-augmented and autonomous testing

Requirements That Must Be Met

• Proven experience in test automation using Playwright
• Practical knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience writing BDD tests (Gherkin)
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber.js or Playwright BDD
• Experience working with Jira and Xray
• Ability to configure and work with Allure Report
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL)
• Experience with on-demand test environments
• Experience or strong interest in autonomous / AI-augmented testing
• Familiarity with Playwright Agents and Playwright MCP
• Curiosity and willingness to explore cutting-edge test automation techniques
• Very good English and Polish
