Your new company 

For our client from Gliwice, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join an existing team. 

Your new role 

Key responsibilities:
• Design and maintain automated test cases (Playwright, web applications)
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Analyse defects and collaborate closely with developers
• Create and maintain test strategies, plans, and reports
• Improve and scale our test automation frameworks
• Support end-to-end and UI regression testing
• Ensure high test coverage for key user journeys
• Continuously enhance testing processes and best practices

What you'll need to succeed 

• Hands-on experience in test automation (preferably Playwright)
• Strong knowledge of Java + testing frameworks (JUnit / TestNG)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab
• Familiarity with Git and test management tools (Jira, Xray, etc.)
• Experience in REST API testing (RestAssured, Postman, etc.)
• Basic database skills
• Usage of AI assisted test development
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to quality
• Fluent English (German is a plus)
