For our client, a leading company in the automotive industry, we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Test Automation Engineer. Technologies we use Expected Python C/C++ ADB GitHub Polarion JIRA Vector CANoe Windows embedded Linux About the project The project is focused on the development and testing of a premium infotainment system for a high-end automotive customer. The system covers advanced in-car functionalities such as navigation, connectivity with smartphones, audio/video processing, voice recognition, image recognition, and vehicle communication. You will join a system testing team working on an embedded infotainment platform in the final phase of development, with a strong focus on test automation. The work is performed fully on-site in Kraków, including testing in laboratory environments (HIL/benches) as well as test drives in dedicated test vehicles. This role offers hands-on exposure to real vehicles and cutting-edge automotive technologies in a premium product environment, with the project planned until at least June 2026. Your responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases for infotainment system functionalities Perform functional and system-level testing of features such as navigation, connectivity, multimedia, and communication with external devices Execute tests in laboratory environments as well as during test drives in test vehicles Analyze system requirements and translate them into manual and automated test cases Take ownership of assigned functional areas from a testing perspective Collaborate closely with software developers to reproduce, analyze, and verify reported issues Report test results, defects, and progress using project tools Contribute to improving test frameworks, automation coverage, and overall test strategy Employer requirements Hands-on experience in test automation for software or embedded systems Experience in testing embedded systems, preferably in automotive, vehicle, mobile or similar domains Good knowledge of Python used for test automation purposes Experience with Vector CANoe or similar automotive testing tools Understanding of test methodologies, test case design, execution, and reporting Basic knowledge of electronics and system-level troubleshooting Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and delivery mindset Good analytical skills and willingness to quickly learn complex systems Communicative knowledge of English (spoken and written) Availability to work 100% on-site in Kraków (no remote work) Optional Programming experience in C or C++ Previous experience in automotive, infotainment, or vehicle testing projects Experience with in-vehicle testing and test drives Knowledge of image recognition or audio processing in test automation Experience with tools such as GitHub, ADB, JIRA, Polarion ISTQB or other testing-related certification What employer offers A quick recruitment process.
