As an Test Automation Developer you will be working for our client, a prominent player in the media industry focused on delivering scalable and high-quality digital products. You will be part of a collaborative and agile environment, contributing to the development and maintenance of automation tools to ensure the stability and performance of complex REST API systems. Working closely with developers and QA engineers, you will help shape and refine test strategies that support rapid software delivery and continuous integration.
Krakow / Warsaw-based opportunity with almost fully remote work model (1 day in the office/month).
responsibilities :
Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for REST APIs and SDK libraries
Collaborating with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to create and improve test scenarios
Monitoring application quality, reporting defects, and supporting the team in analysis and troubleshooting
Participating in CI/CD processes, configuring and maintaining test pipelines in Jenkins
Ensuring high quality of technical and test documentation
requirements-expected :
At least 3 years of experience in test automation
Very good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and hands-on experience in a Node.js testing environment
Experience with end-to-end testing using WebdriverIO and Cucumber (or other BDD tools)
Practical knowledge of API testing (e.g. Postman, REST Assured, Axios with assertions), including: sending requests, validating responses, working with authorization / headers / payloads
Experience working with network requests: monitoring and analyzing requests, mocking / intercepting, verifying client–server communication
Ability to work with the browser in the context of testing: basic UI interaction, interacting with the browser console, debugging issues across different browsers
Experience with Jenkins (preferred) or other CI/CD tools
Good knowledge of Git version control (branching, pull requests, code review)
Independence in diagnosing problems, optimizing test stability, and identifying causes of flaky tests
