We are seeking a highly skilled Global Dynamics 365 CRM Test and Environment Lead to manage the testing processes, environment setup, and maintenance for our Dynamics 365 CRM platform. This role will be responsible for defining test strategies, overseeing quality assurance, and managing multiple CRM environments to ensure smooth operations, data integrity, and adherence to best practices globally. Strong communication skills in English are essential for this role to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Test Strategy and Planning:

  1. Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy for Dynamics 365 CRM , covering functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  2. Develop and maintain test plans, cases, scripts, and scenarios that align with business requirements and objectives.
  3. Collaborate with business and vendor stakeholders to understand testing needs and ensure thorough test coverage.
  4. Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability.

Quality Assurance Management:

  1. Work with the QA team to oversee test execution across all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  2. Identify, document, and manage defects in coordination with development teams, tracking them to resolution.
  3. Establish and monitor quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of testing efforts and drive continuous improvement.

Automation & Process Improvement:

  1. Lead the automation of testing processes where possible, using suitable tools to streamline and enhance efficiency.
  2. Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements within test and environment management to increase productivity and reduce cycle times.
  3. Produce and maintain process documentation (flow diagrams, blueprints, project charter, etc.).
  4. Manage multiple Dynamics 365 CRM environments (development, testing, pre-production), ensuring stability, availability, and version control.
  5. Plan and coordinate environment provisioning, configurations, and upgrades in line with release cycles and project timelines.
  6. Maintain data integrity and security across environments, ensuring consistency and compliance with global standards.
  7. Define and maintain appropriate access processes for users, working with the Application Maintenance team to ensure timely on/off boarding of users in each environment.
  8. Work closely with global teams, including development teams, design teams, product owners, and cross-functional teams, to align testing and environment strategies.
  9. Provide clear and timely communication on test progress, quality metrics, and environment status to stakeholders at all levels.
  10. Conduct regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure adherence to best practices.

Key Requirements

Experience:

  1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in testing and environment management for Dynamics 365 CRM .
  2. Proven experience in leading global test teams, managing complex CRM environments, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  3. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in test planning, defect management, and quality assurance processes within CRM projects.
  2. Experience with test automation tools and techniques, as well as managing multiple CRM environments.
  3. Solid understanding of CRM environment configurations, provisioning, and version control.
  4. Relevant certifications in CRM testing, environment management, or Dynamics 365 are highly desirable.
  5. Familiarity with data migration and integration testing within CRM environments is a plus.

Communication:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for effective global collaboration.
  2. Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
