At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support the reduction of fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions. This includes starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.

Job Description

  • Validation Strategy: Define the comprehensive product test strategy based on Customer and Valeo standards, specifications, and risk analysis.
  • Project Support: Support the project team for compatibility matrix and risk analysis, collaborating with the product family validation standard owner right from the project acquisition phase.
  • DVP Documentation: Document the Design Validation Plan (DVP), including environmental and functional test plans, in collaboration with the Product Architect.
  • Resource Planning: Plan and quote all necessary resources to run DV/PV, including number of parts, subcomponents, headcount, test bench costs (characterization, reliability), and potential external test costs.
  • Commitment Control: Secure that validation conditions and planning feasibility are within project commitments.
  • Coordination: Coordinate all product integration and validation activities (regulations, functional, system, mechanics, electrics, vehicle tests).
  • Risk Management: Report issues at the first level of analysis and report project validation risk assessment.
  • Lead and manage: a team of 6 Design Validation staff.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity and ability to apply AI tools.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar function (Validation, Testing, or R&D)
  • Sector: Experience in the automotive sector is essential
  • Education: An Engineers or Masters degree in a technical field
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Proven Management skills
    • A strong communicator, passionate about achieving the right solution for every customer
    • Very good written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability for creative thinking
    • Highly supportive and flexible mindset
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and Polish
  • Teamwork: Willingness to work effectively with international teams
