responsibilities :
identifying, defining, and implementing Quality vision & strategy, own the implementation of the testing standards, practises, and approaches, deployment management in an Agile environment
understanding the product vision and assess the solution architecture in order to select and manage appropriate testing resources and assets to meet the quality expectations including testing tools and processes
leading the testing and quality efforts for various test cycles e.g. FAT, end-to-end testing, UAT and keeping the stakeholders informed of the status reports, progress, impediments etc. making sure evidence of testing is always available
owning and driving the testing related tool selection, implementation and ensuring proper usage across the product team including training for fellow members
offering timely support to the end users and stakeholders with their questions concerning the MDM solution and how this can help their business needs
proactively coordinating and supporting UAT cycles, prepare and share status reports with internal and external stakeholders
actively collaborating and communicating with Product Owner(s) and partner teams, especially on the quality and release management aspects; advising and coaching to fellow team members on quality aspects
driving the release management, ensuring that all the platforms (i.e. DQAP) are in sync wrt various deployments and proper release management procedures
investigating and propose Options/Solutions for requirements/issues/bugs and investigate the pros and cons along with the Architects, BAs, and SMEs
proactively looking to optimize testing efforts e.g. through automated testing and leverage test automation for UAT and for product demos to the business users
contributing into the product development and actively participating in various test cycles, by creating and executing Test Cases and Scripts, both manual as well as automated/ tool based
proactively creating & registering Incidents/Changes, Defects/Bugs, DMRs/BRDs/Changes when these are needed in the Landscape (not only in MDM tools but for any other system) to make sure environments are up to date and in sync/aligned
owning, coordinating and managing all testing related preparation e.g. test data, setup the Test Ids and Roles needed via HEIDM to support FAT & UAT in MDM Tools (Mendix/TIBCO EBX)
requirements-expected :
Bachelor/Masters degree, preferably in IT or computer science
min 7 years experience of which 5+ years required in a similar role / a complex international environment / FMCG industry
understanding and several years (5+) of hands-on experience of implementing QA best practices, test strategy, test plan, test design and reporting, testing types & levels, defect management
strong understanding and experience (3+ years) of various automation approaches, frameworks and tools using open source e.g. selenium as well as commercial tools e.g. Tosca
experience of DevOps, Release management, deployment methodologies (CI-CD), quality gates and what it takes for a continuous release or value delivery
exposure to and knowledge of the Data Management capabilities such as Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Lineage, Reporting and Analytics
ability to take ownership of the work you deliver and actively drive changes and ensure that people understand them and adopt them into their daily work
excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing) ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
