As Technology Project Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Global Payments Value Stream Technology Leadership Team on managing governance reporting for the portfolio, including monitoring the progress of major programmes’ milestones, risks and issues, financials and resources.
responsibilities :
Work collaboratively across different business units, partner delivery teams and in different time zones and geographies.
Maintaining effective communication and reporting among various global stakeholders, IT teams and delivery partners.
Active management of portfolio risks, dependencies and exceptions in the sub value streams and for individual projects, ensuring that risks and issues are appropriately handled through direct management or escalation.
Preparation and execution of regular governance forum inclusive of Items for management attention, delivery highlights, key risks and issues, detailed milestone walkthrough (past month and current month), detailed risk and issue review, spotlights, and action tracking.
Regular (i.e. Bi-Weekly) update sessions with workstream delivery managers to understand more granular details and ensure use of correct standards.
Ensure alignment with and adherence to the Change Framework for all Change the Bank activity.
Enable awareness and understanding of the Change framework across the technology group. Communicate updates and changes to the change framework.
Regularly perform checks across the portfolio on various change standards to evidence alignment and identify any improvements required.
requirements-expected :
Ability to communicate very clearly and concisely, inclusive of interaction with leadership - written and verbal.
Self-starter, able to work with limited oversight.
Flexibility to accommodate peaks and troughs of Portfolio reporting demand.
Experience of Programme management and associated life cycle.
Knowledge of the Change Framework, the associated controls and compliance with them.
Experience and knowledge of good Clarity tool practice.
