We are looking for Technology Platform Managers to work with alongside our teams of Product Owners and Service Delivery experts; to provide skilled development teams and robust platforms in support of the Product Owners’ current and future requirements. Technology Platform Managers are responsible for the provision of development teams with the required skills. (Our internal development teams are in Poland and UK and are supplemented by supplier teams in other locations including India.)
Technology Platform Managers are continually monitoring the health of their platform, and execute processes to ensure stability, resilience and scalability of the technology platforms.
Working as a team, the group of Technology Platf orm Managers will ensure that their interaction with Product Owners, Service Delivery Manager and other internal stakeholders is clear and consistent.

responsibilities :
Manage and develop the software development teams f or their platf orm(s), leading and motivating them to achieve high prof essional standards.
Ensure all security standards are followed – keeping the platform up to date with all security recommended updates.
Ensure in house IT Standards (architecture, design, development, testing ) are known and followed in their teams.
Ensure industry best practise standards are documented, understood and implemented by their team in all of their deliverables.
Provide a secure and managed platf orm deployment process with zero downtime
Provide meaningful measures of team perf ormance and regularly review with TTC tech stakeholders ; identif ying and undertaking Continuous Improvement actions.
Keep in touch with the range of platf orm solutions on the market.
Keep the Technology Platf orm within supplier’s active support window.
Drive Technology Platform suppliers to bring their experience and competence into play.
Schedule platform change encompassing the Product Owners’ business driven work and platf orm driven work.
Know, manage, and monitor system health and scalability.
Prepare meaningf ul overviews, dashboards and reports f or stakeholders and audiences up to MD level; identif ying and undertaking Continuous Improvement actions.
Identify known problems to Product Owners to ensure the prioritisation and development of required system enhancements
Work with colleague Technology Platf orm Managers, d ef ine the TTC Tech way for development, standardising and bring ing together disparate teams and processes where appropriate.
Ensure that quality of service is maintained to customers, through sound development and deployment regimes and ensuring strong working relation ships with the service delivery teams.
Able to provide 24/7 on-call support or escalation.
requirements-expected :
Frontend expertise is required, with a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Highly focussed on setting and achieving challenging goals and objectives f or themselves and their team.
Enthusiasm to measure and improve team and platf orm perf ormance.
Strong understanding of Technology strategies , how technology platf orms are used to deliver business value.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
Highly organized, self -starter.

Ability to work autonomously and exhibit excellent judgment .

5+ years of experience of hands -on IT Development management.
Experience in development process implementation and improvement, ideally with experience at a multi-site global or regional level.
Experience in process & team perf ormance reporting.
Experience of development f or websites, in-house custom applications, off-the-shelf packaged applications and third -party API interf aces.
Experience of managing conflicting business and technology development priorities , and escalations with 3rd party suppliers.
Knowledge of enterprise technology platf orms and general systems change management issues.
Knowledge of IT Service Delivery.
A strong technical background with the credibility to be able to inf luence the technical development.
