About this opportunity

Welcome to the High Risk QA & Testing team. We add value by understanding how the High Risk Business works and how Technology can be used to achieve the High Risk Business goals. As the Software Development Engineer in Test in QA & Testing, you’ll play a valuable role in building our next generation automated testing framework to support Business Areas to achieve their goals in an efficient and quality assured manner.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and managing test processes across multi-environment settings
• Implementing scalable testing codebase meeting enterprise standards for both data and software applications using modern testing frameworks
• Implementing testing integration solutions among different systems e.g. APIs, RDBMS, ODS to produce qualified testing data objects
• Working closely with DevOps, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for test
• Taking an active role in helping the software development teams to acquire new knowledge and skills into writing testcases by contributing to an intelligent templated solution

You’ll join High Risk Service Domain in Credit & Collateral Service Area. The role is based in the Nordics and Poland.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a dynamic setting
• Experience and skills in QA & Testing (hands-on work being an automated test engineer, knowledge of the test processes and the tools in QA & Testing space)
• Genuine interest in acquiring knowledge about the High Risk business domain and domains related to High Risk

Your experience and background:

• A degree in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
• 2+ years of experience in one of the Test Automation frameworks, such as Robot Framework
• 2+ years of experience in one or more of the Test Automation libraries, such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit and Cucumber
• Alternatively, a strong individual contributor in a Software Developer role (e.g. Python, Java or C# Developer)
• Adequate exposure to data engineering practices such as data warehousing, ETL, data quality control etc.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently and under own initiative
• Some knowledge about the banking domain is a plus
