Overview
Technology Business Consultant II at FIS is a client-facing role within the Professional Services team in Europe. The product delivered is FIS Payment Hub (formerly Trax). You will participate in configuration, implementation, testing and post go-live support as part of product delivery projects.
Responsibilities
- Configure FIS Payment Hub as part of product delivery projects for corporate clients across Europe.
- Perform implementation, configuration, testing and post-go-live support of the software within an Agile/Scrum team.
- Collaborate in a small team of functional consultants in the context of a project; work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor; client-facing role.
- Travel regularly to visit clients (approximately 0–30%), with travel needs revisited as travel conditions change.
Qualifications
- Understanding of financial markets in Payments, Banking, e-Commerce, Treasury, Insurance or Liquidity Management.
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Economics or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in client-facing positions.
- Previous consulting experience is preferable.
- Sound understanding of software implementation project lifecycle.
- Intermediate to advanced in at least one programming language (a plus).
- Presentation and communication skills; fluent in English.
