• As a member of the R&D and Innovation team and reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Technical Writer will engage dynamically with colleagues within the department and members of shared services teams. He/she will gather information from staff specializing in C++, web development, machine learning, quality assurance and more, in order to document technical processes and architectures. This role involves active participation in all R&D and innovation projects.

• Work closely with development teams to develop, maintain and update technical documentation for our software applications. The focus is on development processes and system architectures;
• Create a variety of documents, including system diagrams, API documentation, build and deployment instructions, and troubleshooting guides;
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of reference materials for current and archived documentation;
• Establish and apply technical documentation standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality of all documentation;
• Collaborate with management to translate technical documentation into clear and concise presentations or reports for cost analysis and improvements.

• Minimum 2.5 years experience as a technical writer or in a similar field;
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts;
• Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, or equivalent;
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
• Familiarity with the software development cycle and current practices in a collaborative team environment;
• At least an upper-intermediate level of English.
