Technical Web Project Manager (w/ Manual QA Experience)

INCORE is a digital agency helping small businesses in the U.S. grow by managing their online presence through web design , hosting , and digital marketing services . We’re a small, friendly team working closely with clients across a variety of industries. Our focus is on building long-term client relationships by delivering excellent service and high-quality results.

We’re seeking a Project Manager / QA Specialist to take control of client communications , task management , and quality assurance processes. This hybrid role requires someone who is confident, personable, organized , and technically proficient . The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations within the team and provide a high level of service to clients .

Location : Remote

Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing ongoing communication with confidence and professionalism.
  • Collect project requirements from clients via email, video calls, and phone, and deliver them to the team in a clear and actionable format.
  • Prepare and maintain Project Requirement Documents (PRDs) to ensure clear project goals.
  • Manage tasks in ClickUp , ensuring projects are well-organized, deadlines are set, and progress is tracked.
  • Take full control of ClickUp : organizing workflows, improving task management, and ensuring no task is overlooked.
  • Remove team blockers by troubleshooting internal and external issues (e.g., API connections, integrations).
  • Communicate delays or project changes to clients in a professional manner.
  • Confidently say NO to clients when necessary and negotiate realistic deadlines .
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles.
Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Oversee internal QA to ensure tasks are tested before client review.
  • Develop QA procedures and implement testing checklists for various projects.
  • Perform manual tests on key features to ensure usability and functionality.
  • Use Postman to test APIs and verify integrations.
  • Report bugs and track regressions to ensure stability across all projects.
Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve task management.
  • Implement internal integrations using tools like Zapier to reduce manual workloads.
  • Replicate and diagnose client-reported issues to assist the team in resolving them efficiently.

Required Experience & Skills

Must-Haves
  • 3+ years in a Project Management , Project Coordination , or Account Management role in a digital agency or web development environment .
  • Excellent spoken English with the confidence to communicate with executives .
  • Very strong client-facing communication skills , with a focus on building trust and lasting relationships .
  • People person : You need to be someone clients and team members love working with .
  • Experience managing tasks in ClickUp with full control of the platform (not learning on the job).
  • Basic understanding of web development process.
  • Familiarity with QA processes and ability to perform manual tests .
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools .
  • Experience using Zapier or other automation tools.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies .
  • Familiarity with web technologies (CMS, e-commerce, API, etc.)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts (SEO, PPC, ROAS).

Location / Language Requirements

We are ONLY considering candidates who meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Excellent spoken and written English (both written and verbal communication must be flawless).
  • Located within a 6-hour time window of Eastern Time (GMT -4) .
  • Available to work between 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time (GMT -4) .
