responsibilities :
You will be responsible for conducting training programs for customers and employees. Training will focus on the features and applications across the entire Adtran product range and the underlying communications technologies which support these solutions. Your tasks include:
Delivering standard and customized training curriculums to new and existing customers.
Lecturing classes on installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, following outline, handouts, and course guides. Delivering training programs via traditional classroom (ILT), virtual classroom (VILT), and in blended environments.
Identifying the customers technical training requirements in order to design and deliver customized training curriculums and programs.
Assisting in determining training objectives, writing of training programs; which includes course outline, course guide, handouts, exams, and laboratory exercises.
Work with R&D, Product Support, Application Engineering, Sales Engineering, Sales and Marketing staff to define and identify customers technical training requirements.
Recommending modifications of course content or presentation materials to the training development team.
Assisting in the development of other projects such as training videos, online training products (OLT) and exams.
requirements-expected :
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree
2 to 5 years’ experience supporting and/or training on Adtran or similar products on a technical level in the telecommunications industry is desired.
Demonstrated proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Willingness and ability to travel to customer or reseller sites 10-20% percent of the time to support Adtrans training objectives is required.
Industry technology certifications are desirable.
