Join us as a Technical Team Leader Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a Technical Team Leader to join its Transfer Agency Systems group. As an integral part of a technical team, you will be responsible for delivering IT project services for a demanding business. You will work closely with business experts, architects, vendors and application developers to conceptualize, develop, and deliver projects and solutions. This role involves strong and active participation in team leadership, project planning, and implementation. Your responsibilities Act as a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the architecture, design decisions for a products development; Consistent practice in coding and unit testing Conduct code reviews for the team and have well establish standards and practices for the team Work with distributed teams (infrastructure, network, etc.) and act as subject matter expert Provide technical leadership on best practices for chosen architecture and technology Identify issues and risks and proactively add to the iterative discussion Foster and drive innovation, overseeing the prioritization of new business concepts/ideas Communicate efficiently within and outside the team Strong organizational, time management Our requirements 2 years in leading a team of engineers to develop and deliver new services 10 years of professional experience as a software engineer 5 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data modeling, and Database design, with hands-on development of all logical layers of a solution and non-functional aspects Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle databases architecture Experience working with technical management, product owners, and operations Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones Good experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or familiar Familiar with iterative and agile methodologies Improve the code quality with effective testing and review process Design and develop scalable technical implementations Knowledge of Python programming is a plus Experience with one or more modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React and micro-services architecture is a plus Hands-on with strong organizational skills and great attention to detail Excellent problem solving and analytical skills What we offer To encourage cultural awareness and philanthropy, BBHers have 1 Culture Celebration Day and 1 Community Service Day in addition to their paid standard vacation allowance Task based working system 24 days of occasional remote work from Poland during a calendar year Contracts for an indefinite period, from day one Private medical care Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program - offering independent and confidential counselling services for you and your family.
