Technical Team Leader

SKILLS: Java / Clojure | Kafka | SQS | Postgres | AWS

B2B: PLN 170 - 190 / Hour

LOCATION: Kraków (Hybrid Work Mode)*

Work three days from our Kraków office and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely for two days each week.

Key Duties and Requirements:

• Lead a team of 4-5 developers in the development of an advanced data collection platform.
• Address and solve complex technical challenges at scale.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver value-driven solutions.
• Drive process optimization and improve system performance and scalability.
• Participate in on-call cycles (production alerts and escalations from customer support).

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Java / Clojure development (experience in Clojure is not mandatory, Java engineers eager to learn Clojure are welcome to apply).
• Strong proficiency in a full tech stack, including: Java, Clojure (willingness to learn), Kafka, SQS, Postgres, S3, Cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
• Proactive leader with a strong can-do attitude.
• Effective mentor with strong team-building skills.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with a focus on delivering results.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Go and JavaScript is advantageous.

Navigating the Hiring Process:

1. HR Screening - once we get your CV, we’ll take a look and schedule a brief call. Duration about 15-30 min.
2. Technical interview - during this stage, we conduct two video calls with one of our client experts. Duration is approximately 60 minutes.
3. Live Coding Session - A hands-on coding exercise to assess your technical proficiency. Duration is approximately 60 minutes.
4. HR Interview - A final interview with one of our client experts to discuss team fit and company culture.
