Technical Support Engineer / Field Service Engineer

The Export sales department in Warsaw is responsible for supporting the sales of power electronics equipment for various industrial directions, mainly in the field of artificial lift in the oil production segment. The job involves business trips - worldwide.

We are looking for a specialist to join our team with experience in the industrial market, with power‑electronics and VFD knowledge.

• Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing uninterrupted work of our equipment in different regions, equipment commissioning, repair, maintenance services. Perform business trips worldwide.
• Consult the Customers representatives on service maintenance and operation of the equipment. Conduct customer satisfaction survey on delivered and operated equipment.
• Collect and identify information on technical problems of the customer, to formulate proposals to improve the performance of the equipment in operation, technical process of customers.
• Carry out technical analysis of Customers requests. Create technical proposals.
• Form technical requirements for the R&D department.
• Provide pre-project inspection of customers facilities, in preparation for the first implementation of new products (for the market - General Industry).
• Carry out commissioning of new equipment at the Customers facilities.
• Support Equipment Pilot Operations (pilot tests), ensuring that assigned pilot tests timelines and goals are met for all company products.
• Perform out repairs of equipment. Maintain records and planning of spare parts for timely uninterrupted product service in the region.
• Receive equipment from the manufacturers plant, arrange delivery to the customers facilities, and control the accuracy of order paperwork.
• Participate in commission investigations of equipment failures at the Customers or third partys premises.
• Participate in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions developed to improve the quality of equipment delivered to Customers.
• Keep daily reports on completed work in CRM Bitrix24.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power electronics/ or two‑year technical degree with additional 3 years of relevant experience. Certificates and diplomas confirming the verification of knowledge in the main profession.
• Experience in commissioning of VFD. Experience in maintenance and operation of converter equipment, from 3 years or more.
• Possession of complex measuring instruments (oscilloscope, megohmmeter, network analyzer, etc.).
• Skills of organization of commissioning works. Computer proficiency is required.
• Previous Customer facing experience preferred.
• Electrical safety certificate above 1000 V with the possibility of its extension.
• Availability of a B‑category drivers license.
• Valid international passport.
• Maintain effective working relationships with other employees and customers in the region.
• Able to understand and follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Language proficiency: Technical English Upper‑Intermediate (B2+), Polish (B2+).

Working Conditions

60‑70 % of the time in the office, 40‑30 % on business trips, usually outside Poland. Able to work a flexible schedule in case of need. UoP, full‑time.
