Technical Support Engineer

Your responsibilities:
  • Be a part of the development team of the home WiFi Mesh Network solution, to handle customer issues,
  • Analyse and troubleshoot issues reported from the field that land in the development team’s bucket,
  • Have a good understanding of the deployment environment and scenarios and be able to perform analysis of logs and device configurations of issues reported, to identify the cause or possible causes,
  • Also be able to browse code and gradually understand the code base and identify software fixes.
We require:
  • At least 4 years’ experience in testing, triaging and issue resolution of software systems,
  • Good understanding of home WiFi network and networking concepts,
  • Ability to understand and write software in Python / scripting or similar languages,
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with ability to effectively use tools and techniques and root cause issues,
  • Ability to quickly learn intricacies of a new system by self-exploration and hands-on testing,
  • Working knowledge of Linux and software development & debugging tools,
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English and ability to work in a team,
  • Openness to work stationary on site in Katowice.

  2. A phone call with H4H IT Consultant (15-30 minutes).
  3. A video call with our Partner’s Tech Leader, to evaluate your skills (30-60 minutes).
  4. Discussion of the terms of cooperation.
  5. Onboarding alongside the experienced Team members.
