responsibilities :
Deliver expert-level technical support for BMCs mainframe offerings, particularly in z/OS Db2 contexts
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and implement sustainable fixes or effective workarounds
Install, configure, and test BMC solutions, reproducing customer issues when needed to speed up resolution and QA verification
Document detailed support interactions, diagnostic an troubleshooting steps, and solutions in internal systems to expand our knowledge base
Collaborate closely with Product Management and R&D to escalate and resolve intricate product issues
Review and contribute to the improvement of technical documentation to ensure clarity and usefulness for both users and team members
requirements-expected :
Around 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a mainframe setting, focusing on z/OS Db2 administration or system-level programming
Proven ability to support production systems, diagnose complex problems, and understand the software development process
Familiarity with key mainframe tools such as TSO, ISPF, REXX, Clist, and standard utilities
Strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for solving problems
A meticulous, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or in distributed teams
A desire to learn, grow, and contribute ideas that lead to innovative solutions
