Technical Specialist, Grid Automation Pre‑Sales
We are looking for a motivated and committed Technical Specialist for our Grid Automation Pre‑Sales team in Hub Europe. The role is remote with regular travel across Europe and the United Kingdom.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Provide pre‑sales technical support/expertise to assist the sales team with specialized product knowledge.
- Deliver in‑depth product and system demonstrations to clients and sales representatives both internally and externally.
- Perform customer interactions such as demos, proof‑of‑concepts and presentations of our Substation Automation products and solutions.
- Engage early with existing and potential customers to jointly develop solutions with the sales team.
- Over time, develop prototypes to demonstrate feasibility of product solutions.
- Travel up to 15–20 days per year within Hub Europe for customer visits and demos; meetings may be a mix of virtual and face‑to‑face.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of B2B pre‑sales experience with customer activities.
- Active, energetic, and open‑minded approach.
- Strong communication, presentation, and learning skills.
- Experience with Substation Automation solutions for Offshore wind projects is preferable; site experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical HV solutions and large PV projects; experience with Wind Onshore or Offshore projects.
- Knowledge of electrical HV solution applications within Electric Utilities, especially for TSOs, is an advantage.
- Understanding of Electrical Grid connection in Wind and PV projects, including Digital substation experience.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; other European languages are advantageous.
