Technical Specialist – Software Build Environment

For our Client we are looking for Software Engineer (Bazel).

• Location: remote work
• Form: B2B contract
• Rate: 120 - 160 pln/h net + vat 
• Start date: April/May 2025

Project: As a Technical Specialist for Software Build Environments you will play a key role within company’s global DevOps Team, provide trainings, create documentation and support project teams. You will challenge existing solutions to bring them to the next level and will support on-boarding entirely new and game changing solutions.
Your Background:

• You have minimum 5 years of experience development using in Bazel/Make/CMake.
• You are experienced with any scripting language and you are not afraid to look into C/C++ code.
• You have knowledge and relevant experience with build environments, source code and configuration management systems, such as GIT, Jira and Docker.
• You are familiar with agile software development.
• You are experienced in analysing and solving issues.
• You have good communication skills.
• You have an Information Technology degree or similar.
• You are Curious: Explore your curiosity, challenging the status quo.
• You are Strategic: Plan ahead adopting future intelligence to break down barriers.
• You are Innovative: Challenge us to think outside the box, creating solutions which will enhance our technology landscape.

Your Role:

• Extend and improve an inner source project based on Bazel, that will be used by thousands of engineers around the world.
• Review and implement suggested code changes from external or internal stakeholders.
• Support project teams to on-board our global Bazel build framework.
• Advise project teams around Bazel.
• Create and provide trainings and share best practices with project teams on how to use Bazel.
• Create and provide documentation around Bazel and our global Bazel build framework.
• Troubleshoot issues. You will not always have to be able to solve them on your own. Your colleagues will be there to support you
