In this role, you will support project recruiting, screening, and processing efforts for a manual craft professional workforce. You will assist with document preparation, employment verifications, background submittals, pre-employment processing, and updating employee data in the HRIS system. Your efforts and attention to detail will contribute to ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supports recruiting, screening, and in processing efforts of the required manual workforce craft professional workforce as needed
- Assists with the preparation and submission of required documentation for government, labor and immigration offices and/or client project requirements
- Performs work authorization checks I-9, employment verifications, background submittals and pre-employment processing as needed
- Maintains and updates employee data in the Craft HRIS system, accreditation systems, and/or in physical employee files
- Compiles and submits employee information required for accreditation, audits, or other administrative reasons
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevantwork experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience in craft/trades recruiting and/or work in construction field with experience in hiring/screening Journeyman level craft professionals.
- Ability to work in high call volume, fast paced environment and ability to multitask.
- Work within applicant tracking system and adhering to hiring policies.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Ability to use MS Office; heavy use in MS Excel.
