You will work closely with customers, internal technical teams, vendors and partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while meeting security, compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management & Delivery
    • Own end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and digital workplace projects (e.g. network refresh, datacentre migration, cloud adoption, M365 rollout, endpoint transformation).
    • Define and manage scope, timelines, budget, resources and quality using recognised project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile or hybrid as appropriate).
    • Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports and communication plans.
    • Lead project kick‑off, design workshops, implementation reviews, UAT sign‑off and go‑live / cut‑over activities.

  2. Infrastructure – Network, Server, Storage & Datacentre
    • Coordinate design and delivery of:
    • Server & Compute: physical and virtual (VMware / Hyper‑V / cloud), OS builds, patching, hardening.
    • Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS, backup and recovery solutions, DR planning and testing.
    • Datacentre / Cloud: on‑prem DC migrations, co‑location, cloud (Azure/AWS) integrations and hybrid topologies.
    • Work closely with solution architects and engineers to translate designs into executable plans, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with customer requirements.
    • Support capacity, performance and resilience planning, ensuring infrastructure designs adhere to availability, security and compliance standards.
    • Coordinate cut‑overs, migrations, rollbacks and DR tests, including out‑of‑hours activities when required.
    • Manage projects related to modern workplace and collaboration services, such as:
    • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
    • Identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO, MFA, conditional access).
    • VDI / DaaS and other EUC technologies.
    • Coordinate activities to improve end‑user experience, including device refreshes, OS upgrades, application deployments and workplace standardisation.
    • Ensure appropriate training, communications and adoption activities for end users during workplace changes.
    • Support service transition of new capabilities into TECEZE’s support and managed services teams, with clear documentation and knowledge transfer.
    • Act as the primary project point of contact for the customer, building strong relationships and ensuring expectations are managed.
    • Facilitate regular steering committees, governance meetings, status updates and workshops with customer stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with internal delivery teams, including architects, engineers, service desk, operations and security.
    • Manage external vendors, partners and third‑party providers, including SOWs, deliverables tracking and issue escalation.
    • Handle scope changes and commercial impacts in collaboration with account management / sales teams.
    • Ensure all projects adhere to TECEZE’s security, compliance and quality frameworks.
    • Identify and manage project risks and issues, proposing mitigation and recovery plans and escalating where necessary.
    • Ensure proper management of changes via CAB/Change Management processes when projects impact production environments.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design sign‑offs, test plans, change records and as‑built documentation.
    • Create, manage and track project budgets, forecasts and actuals.
    • Support effort estimation, resourcing and pricing for new opportunities and change requests.
    • Monitor project profitability, utilisation of resources and margin, and propose corrective actions when required.
    • Provide direction and leadership to project teams, including technical leads and engineers.
    • Mentor junior PMs or coordinators and contribute to project management standards, templates and best practices.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery quality, repeatability and customer satisfaction.
