Technical Product Owner - Data Management

Data & Analytics is a multifunctional and multinational team of cool, engaged and truly open experts working on agile projects using cloud and hybrid solutions, residing in Krakow and in Randers (Denmark).

As Technical Product Owner, you will support Governance and Change Manager and a great team of experts from the fields of Master Data and use your knowledge and expertise in powering Danish Crown’s digital transformation.

Area of responsibility:

1. Ensure group data standards and new data requirements are secured and integrated into the MD processes
2. Participate in data projects to enable data
3. Ensuring usability, availability and integrity of Data together with data owner, operations and CoE
4. Ensure Data Quality and data Quality processes are met
5. Enhance data Standards and the process to ensure data Standards are met
6. Sign off the Data Ingestion definitions for new data points together with CoE
7. Driving the delivery of the 6 dimensions of process management for Master data
8. Ensure that the specification and design of MDS is fit for purpose and fulfilling the business and technical objectives
9. Utilise enterprise data quality solutions to enhance our ability to control data quality in MDS and SAP
10. Actively participate in solution selection process in the Data Management Domain
11. Responsible for securing and approving technical changes that are allowed in MDS
12. Allocated for the full life-cycle of the product, and that there is only one Technical Product Owner per team
13. Secures validation of software before sending it to release
14. Empowered to cancel a release if code is not approved
15. Empowered to take technical decisions within own domain and security guidelines
16. Participates during the Product Definition process
17. SPOC for the definition team with high availability for technical decisions
18. Ensures that the product is fitting with the data landscape
19. Work with external vendors to establish a solution and process road map
20. Evaluate and support implementation of data process to establish availability of high quality critical data for consumption

Other Specific tasks:

1. Evaluates the Agile team together with the Scrum Master
2. Coordinates business resource allocation
3. Engages with IT stakeholders
4. High availability to the development team
5. Participates in Product Backlog Initiation, Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Grooming & Sprint Demo
6. Creates strategy and plan for roll-out together with Product Manager
7. Responsible for sprint sign-off

Educational background and skills:

1. Should have a good knowledge of Scrum
2. Deep technical understanding of the area in scope
3. Deep knowledge of data management principles
4. Deep knowledge of SAP processes
5. Good communication skills
6. Ability to handle uncertainties
7. Negotiation skills
8. Accessible to team
9. Proactive
10. Result oriented
11. Empowered to make decisions and accept User Stories prior to Sprint Reviews
12. Open to feedback from the Development Team and willing to give feedback
13. Fluent spoken and written English, Danish is an advantage
