As a Technical Product Owner in the Azure Cloud Platform team at Baloise, you will play a key role in driving our multinational insurance company’s move to Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the core cloud infrastructure requirements to be used by our business units. Additionally, you will assist and advise our internal customers as they build new solutions or migrate their applications from on-premise or hybrid environments to Azure.
- Taking the lead on developing a long-term vision for our platform team
- Managing technical requirements and product specifications within our Scrum process.
- Writing, prioritizing, and validating user stories while continuously working on our product development.
- Working in a cross-functional platform team, you will take the leading role in communicating with all stakeholders and coordinating project progress.
- Effectively managing the communication between IT and other departments, solving problems and potential conflicts.
- Grooming and prioritizing the product backlog, striving for on-time implementation in high quality.
Your Ideal Background and Skillset
- With demonstrable achievements, you have 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a Scrum team.
- Previous experience working with technical requirements and deep knowledge of agile processes
- Knowledge about Azure Cloud.
- A good technical understanding while also comprehending customers needs.
- Good analytical skills and an interest in qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- Excellent project management and strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
- Excellent communication skills with various departments in both written and spoken English.
