Your career opportunity

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Technical Product Owner. In this role you will support definition, prioritization, development and release of new products as well as developing, enhancing and championing improvements existing products. Ensuring that they are competitive and meet the needs of the clients.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business to elicit, clarify, and validate requirements for system changes, ensuring alignment with underlying business needs.
  • Build a comprehensive knowledge base in the banking domain to add value to the organization.
  • Deliver detailed requirement documents, including functional and non-functional specifications that are technically feasible and realistic.
  • Provide ongoing support to IT teams for understanding business requirements for solution proposals, development, and testing.
  • Offer ongoing consultancy to business and training to other teams, such as the testing team, on new features and production issues.
  • Manage projects, build stakeholder buy-in, and organize activities, ensuring alignment with the mission and goals while managing scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Drive productivity improvements within IT teams through effective backlog management and maturity in Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, controls, compliance standards, and risk management across cross-functional, global teams.

Our requirements

  • Senior experience in large-scale project or programme management, preferably within IT roles.
  • Understanding of how technology (Java, React, Oracle, MongoDB) adds value to the business and benefits end customers.
  • Some experience in analysis, knowledge of structured techniques, and familiarity with Group standards.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both locally and globally.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks, including infrastructure and technical solution design.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with strong risk and issue management skills.
  • Competency in managing projects with technologies like Java, React, Oracle, and MongoDB, with understanding of portfolio and programme management.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with excellent English communication skills.
