The Role

As the Technical Product Manager for our IoT and Entitlement Server solutions, you will work closely with our Internet of Things (“IoT”) & Entitlement Server (“ES”) customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver a stable, scalable and feature rich platform. You will be accountable for the technical product delivery and in-life management of the 1Global for Telecoms platforms.

You will be the technical product manager supporting Sales, Operations and Business development when onboarding new or existing IoT & ES customers. You will also lead the product feature delivery for the IoT development teams.

What you will do:

- Ensure product roadmap for the 1Global IoT & ES platform and Entitlement Server complies with the latest GSMA specifications.

- Understand customer issues and align with internal stake holders to develop appropriate solutions for their needs, capture technical requirements and perform cost anaylsis

- Ensure stability of the IoT & ES Platform, through product improvements and re-engineering as needed

- Engaging with 1Global’s IoT & ES development team to ensure customer requriements are met

- Maintain a constant focus on product quality and improvement.

- Create product Requirements that clearly define what is needed to create a competitive offering.

- Translate and convey the GSMA specs for IoT & ES to the development team, creating jiras tasks.

- Provide guidelines for the development teams and ensure they understand clearly what they need to develop and why

- Colabroation with other product managers to ensure the IoT & ES product helps improve other products

- Strong coordination with the IoT & ES product manager + engineering manager to organize the development team planning

- Guide the development team to deliver within the agreed time lines

- Support the development of sales tools and support collateral.

Requirements

What you will bring:

- Minimum 4 years experience with at least 1 year in product management, technical architecture experience, customer facing operations or software integration.

- Proven ability to deliver successful product experiences to customers as a product or technical leader.

- Hands-on experience with IoT services and Entitlements Servers

- Understanding the SIM cards, eSIMs, Remote SIM Provisioning platforms (Consumer and M2M),

- Understanding the development lifecycle and cost drivers

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Significant experience in presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience with software products in the Telco sector but working for a Telco is not required

- Hands-on approach to test features, set up demos, work through complex customer challenges, etc.

- API management and customer integration experience is necessary

- Experience creating cloud software services and product documentation

- Bachelors in Computer Science or other technical field required

- Ability to manage competing and evolving priorities. There will always be more than you can do in a day so you need to continually make sure you have the right priorities and focus.
