Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting for Technical Manager Systems position with team lead experience to join our Digital Transformation System team. with a strong focus on AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of AI technologies to drive business transformation. Develop and oversee the architecture for both AI Platform and Reconciliation Platform, ensuring scalability efficiency and security. Leading a dynamic team of engineers and working closely with cross functional teams. The candidate will be responsible for bringing new skillset onto our group, provide guidelines to our less experienced developers and will be closely cooperating with our Stakeholders to drive applications evolution and feature changes, as well as commercialization.
responsibilities :
Supervising day-to-day inquiry tracking and resolution. Act as point of contact and first line escalation point for Unity and workflow related issues or queries
Provide Subject Matter Expertise from a process and technical perspective on vendor and proprietary platforms (mainly, but not limited to Unity)
Maintain open lines of communication with Financial Reporting and other business teams, identify FR process deficiencies and lead automation/improvement initiatives
Execute automation and Unity development projects with collaboration from Business Lines and Systems
Prepare Business Requirements Documents for application enhancements. Work closely with Financial Reporting and Systems on development items
Support change process through planning and execution of aggressive regression testing and deployment of wellness checks for system upgrades and developments
Day-to-day management of vendor relationship. Identify and communicate areas for application enhancements
Execution of ad hoc projects such as annual attestations, risk reviews, workflow analysis etc.
Lead local and actively participate in global meetings to contribute ideas for Fin Rep process improvements
Supervise day-to-day team operations and provide on-the-job training and support for more junior team members
Provide application training to end users
Create and maintain system documentation and best practice guidelines
requirements-expected :
7+ years of relevant software development experience
Experience leading a team and guiding junior java developers to deliver business value
Willingness to take responsibility, commit and be a driving force within the project
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in developing back-end systems with REST web services in Java 11+
Good understanding of Java Design Patterns and OO Design for microservices
Proficiency in RDBMS concepts, SQL, Spring Data, JPA
Knowledge of Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot, Junit, Git, Maven
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Understanding of enterprise SDLC and application deployment procedures
High proficiency in development practices: unit testing, Continuous Integration, refactoring, clean code
Ability to adapt to Scrum/Agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
