Your role in the Team

Youll be leading a small, close-knit team of developers working closely with the dealing desk to deliver a green field project built on Linux server software for our high throughput market making systems. Were looking for somebody who is excited to work with large scale low latency high-frequency data systems.

What you’ll do

  1. Implementing new features in code
  2. Debugging and fixing issues
  3. Working with the Product Manager to schedule work for the team and the business
  4. Improving the Teams roadmap
  5. Running Sprints and Retros
  6. Coaching and mentoring your team members on technical and ways of working subjects

What you’ll need for this role

Youll be leading teams of C++, Java and QA automation developers, coaching and mentoring them on technical topics, gathering technical specifications and liaising with business stakeholders.

So we are looking for candidates who have a relevant technical degree as well as the following:

  1. Technical Team leadership
  2. Risk management and compliance
  3. Experience leading and inspiring technology teams with a passion for great team culture
  4. A firm understanding of Agile and the desire to push improvements
  5. Experience and proficiency in design at system and component levels
