Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Manager with strong expertise in Java and React to lead software development initiatives in a rapidly growing engineering team. This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on technical leadership.
Your responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Provide direction and hands-on leadership for projects built with Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor developers, fostering growth and ensuring adherence to best engineering practices.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, reliable software within agreed timelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and technical priorities.
- Code Quality & Standards: Review architecture and code to ensure high standards of performance and maintainability.
- Scalability & Performance: Design solutions optimized for enterprise-grade scalability and performance.
- Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into the company’s technical ecosystem.
- Risk Management: Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical risks early in the development lifecycle.
Our requirements
- Strong experience in Java (Spring, Spring Boot) and related frameworks.
- Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, AWS, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and version control systems (Git).
- Proven experience leading software development teams in dynamic environments.
- Strong project management skills — planning, tracking, and on-time delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in Java & React.
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
- Certifications in Java, React, or cloud platforms are a plus.
